Holder A

T10 – 0.500 carbide end mill, for stainless, 4 flute, AlTiN coated (to be Hanita varimill ii in future)

  • Speed: 1104 RPM (V = 144 SFM)
  • Feed 7.0 (.0016 IPT)
  • 30% stepover
  • Used on .125 316 at these params.

Holder B

T31 – 5/8 end mill 2 flute HSS

T01 – .375 End mill (16.0 mm) 0.63 min stickout (Al: 1800 rpm 7.8 fpm) 2 Flutes, Carbide – Z top of vise

T21  4.9mm (.1929)  for 10 – 32 clearance,, FULLY INTO BACK OF CHUCK

  • Austenitic SS (316) – 50 fpm
    • RPM = 1072 <<Check this
    • .002 to .006 inches per revolution (good for .125 to .25)
    •  2.1 inches per minute (min side)

T22 – No. 40 (0.098 diameter, tap drill for M3 x 0.5), ALIGNED WITH FLUTES (1.435)

  • Austenitic SS (316) – 50 fpm
    • RPM = 1072 2040
    • .002 to .006 inches per revolution (good for .125 to .25)
    • 2.1 inches per minute (min side)

T23 – No 2 Center Drill, Fully into back of chuck

  • RPM = 2000
  • F = 3.0

T24 – No 21, 0.1590 diameter (Tap drill for 10-32 UNF)

T25 – .125 drill  (clearance for M3X.5)

  • Austenitic SS (316) – 50 fpm
    • RPM = 1072
    • .002 to .006 inches per revolution (good for .125 to .25)
    • 2.1 inches per minute (min side)
  • 6061 Aluminum
    • RPM = 1500
    • Feed = 6.0

T26 – Carbide Tip Router Bit (90 deg)

  • Aluminum
    • RPM: 1800
    • Feed: 8.0

T27 – .201 dia twist drill (no 7) – Tap drill for .25-20 threads.

  • Aluminum
    • RPM = 1500
    • Feed 6.0

T28 – #30 jobber length twist drill (.1285 dia) – clearance for .125 pin.

  • Austenitic SS (316) – 50 fpm
    • RPM = 1072
    • .002 to .006 inches per revolution (good for .125 to .25)
    • 2.1 inches per minute (min side)
  • 6061 Aluminum
    • RPM = 1500
    • Feed = 6.0

T32 – Wire brush cup

T30 – .125 x .25 x .75 corner rounder – interstate tools

T03 – 1/4 inch 4 flute end mill – a 2100 rpm 7.8 ft/mn

    • RPM: 1616 (Teflon)
